SLASH REPAIRS AND SKYE'S CARBON FIBRE MASSACRE

This is Skye's carbon fibre Giant.
I always thought that carbon fibre was for wankers.
Skye's not a wanker. The thing I love the most is most people with Carbon fibre show it off.
Skye took a spray can to the sucker!
Matt Black all the way.

Cinelli Bars and Stem
FSA Vero crankset
(Check the bling of the chainring bolts)

An unorthodox use of a MTB chain tensioner.
(works fine)
(you have to run a chain tensioner of some sort with road bikes that you want to turn into a singlespeed that don't have horizontal dropouts)

Wheels Manufacturing singlespeed spacer kit for cassette hubs

Finish it off with DMR V8 pedals, Velocity Wheelset, Vittoria Rubino tyres
And you got this...
(Kashimax replica saddle for photo shoot only)

I like it... I like it alot

SLASH REPAIRS AND MARC'S FIXIE... WHEN ART AND BIKES COLLIDE

This is Marc's fixie.
This is what I build in 45 degree heat.
Marc is a graphic artist and painstakingly hand painted this frame.
Check out his other work here
I think they're slugs... nothing sluggish about this bike though!
The chainring was raw metal and looked ugly, so I polished it.
Novatec hubs on Alex rims.. a cheaper version of velocity.
Oddysey pitbull brake lever, cheap cheng shin calliper cause it needed a long drop, vittoria rubino tyres, oury grips, bbb seatpost, generic riser handlebars and stem. The diamond back bmx saddle was just for the photo shoot.
Nice tight ride this one... my size too.
I hope Marc likes it cause your seeing it before he does.
(P.S. it just started to rain,
that should cool things down a bit,
it's getting mighty hot around here)

SLASH REPAIRS AND TIFFS BIANCHI

This is Tiffs Bianchi
After much deliberation it finally got built.White powder coated bars from Dan at Shifter Bikes

It's a sticker not a badge, but it's still sexy

The girl's picked up this saddle on their road trip, apparently this guy on the central coast of NSW has heaps of new old stock of rad 80's BMX bits (Check out my shop photos for the kashimax saddles)

Do I really need to tell you how beautiful this is?Yep... I like this one... Damn I wish I weren't so tall!
